1. Data Categories Collected

1.1 Personal Identifiers: Full name, WhatsApp number, email, complete residential address, date of birth.

1.2 Verification Documents: Aadhaar (first 8 digits only), educational certificates, experience proofs, profile photo.

1.3 Financial Information: Bank account number, IFSC, UPI ID (collected strictly post-placement).

1.4 Technical Data: IP address, device info, browser type, exact registration timestamp to establish digital consent (IT Act Section 65B).

2. Legal Basis & Processing Purposes

2.1 Contract Performance: Profile verification, Client matching, remuneration processing.

2.2 Legitimate Interests: Enforcing non-circumvention compliance, dispute resolution, and fraud prevention.

3. Data Recipients & Sharing

3.1 Matched Clients: Only basic professional info (name, qualifications, photo) is shared. No financial or sensitive personal data is shared with Clients.

3.2 Legal Authorities: Data will be disclosed to courts or police investigations if compelled by statutory demands or in cases of suspected criminal misconduct by the Tutor.

3.3 NO THIRD-PARTY SALE: We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to marketing agencies.

4. Data Security Measures

4.1 Data is hosted on secure Indian servers.

4.2 End-to-end encryption for sensitive document transfers.

4.3 We employ strict role-based internal access controls.

5. Data Retention Periods

5.1 Active Tutors: Retained indefinitely for service provision.

5.2 Terminated Tutors: Digital dossiers are archived for a mandatory cooling-off period of twenty-four (24) months post-termination to monitor the Non-Solicitation clause.

6. Tutor Data Rights

6.1 Subject to statutory requirements and active dispute resolutions, Tutors may request access, rectification, or restricted processing of their data by contacting info@tutor.iq9.in. Response time is a maximum of 30 days.

7. Policy Changes

7.1 Updates will be posted on the website. Continued use of the Platform constitutes explicit acceptance of revised privacy protocols.
